Laura Large Ambassador Page

Meet Laura Large, our UK ambassador!

One of our magical Moonchild ambassadors, Laura, from Marlborough, Wiltshire has been practicing and teaching Ashtanga Yoga for years, with a real love and passion for her practice. Laura owns and manages a Wellbeing center, where she also works as a licensed Acupuncturists. Working with acupuncture, Laura is able to be more in-tune with the body and provides her with a stronger understanding of the energetics of the asanas and how they affect the physical, mental and emotional bodies.
Laura’s classes are strong, energetic and fun! Laura sees Ashtanga Yoga as an amazing practice for developing some serious strength and flexibility in both mind and body. When she’s not practicing Ashtanga, Laura loves to be creative and play and explore hybrid postures and different variations. Arm balances are a personal favorite.

What does yoga mean to you?
Honestly, yoga means such a lot to me this is a hard question to answer! To me, yoga is all about having a strong and flexible mind as well as a strong and flexible body. My practice is so important to me; mainly for the headspace it gives me. When you’re flowing and listening to your breath the whole world just melts away, and that’s pretty magical.”

What makes you happy?
Obviously, my family, my friends and my practice make me happy, but achieving a new yoga pose, or a deeper variation of one is pretty high up there too! I love challenging myself and finding out new things that my body is capable of. Curling up with a good book is also a favourite thing to do.”

What is your favorite yoga to practice?
“Ashtanga yoga. I totally fell in love with how challenging and dynamic it is. The journey is a lifelong one, there’s always somewhere to go with it.”

What do you love about Moonchild Yoga Wear?
“Oh! Everything! I love the designs... They’re eye catching and artistic, and I love the fact that they’re so unique. I don’t think anyone else makes yoga leggings like Moonchild. And they’re so comfortable too, you hardly know that you’re wearing them.”
